Farmobil was a simple, low-cost vehicle. It used the BMW Isetta 697cc (0.7 liters) engine and a patented Porsche four-speed manual gearbox.
The production took place in Thessaloniki from 1962 to 1966. While Farmobil made the round of car exhibitions (including that of Paris), Greece was not yet a member of the EEC, and the cost of import duty increased the end-price.
Farmobil has been sold all over the world with great success and is still used today as a light commercial vehicle.
